I would recommend Hotel Du Vieux Quebec. Reasonably spacious and fairly clean, it's an easy base for one night. the staff is fantastic and wonderful. the location is great, and the breakfast is tasty and delicious. the attached restaurant is nice.

The total stay was just perfect on vacation. The staff were very hospitable and thoughtful without being intrusive. Hotel's location was perfect, up to landmarks. The attached restaurant served a great selection of fab food.

We loved the location, the helpfulness of the staff, and the breakfast picnic baskets were fabulous! We had three adults and three kids between two rooms. They put us on the main floor which was both convenient (we were right across from the lounge) and meant we weren't disturbing other guests. The kids loved the breakfasts, the movies and the free popcorn. The hotel itself was charming but modern in its amenities. I was concerned that not having a pool might be a problem with the kids, but it wasn't an issue at all. Being able to walk easily out to things or stay in and watch a movie made up for it.

The staff we very accommodating and the room was much bigger than we expected. The extra touches were very nice and made us feel welcome. The option of hot popcorn went you borrowed a movie.

We looked forward to the picnic baskets every morning and very filling (kept us going for the entire day!) The price was very reasonable and the location is right in the heart of Old Quebec. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful (speak both French and English). We will be staying here again if we come back to Quebec. I also like that it is a green hotel. It is also a very quiet hotel and the rooms are very soundproof. They also helped set up our tours and made the calls with the touring companies.
The fridge was a little too small and it would have been nice to have a larger fridge to store our perishables. A larger workout room with a treadmill would be appreciated.

Very pleasent reception. Friendly staff, ammenities were excellent, continental breakfast delivered each morning. Able to get directions in a timely fashion.

This place is pretty clean and makes for a charming spot to stay for a night. the rooms are neat, and they even provide hypoallergenic pillows - great for sensitive sleepers. Plus, the views from the rooms are awesome! 🌟
